His mother was Maria Magdalena Keverich and his father Johann van Beethoven was a musician and music teacher. The musician died on the 26th of March, 1827 in Vienna, Austria at the age of 56. Ludwig van Beethoven is buried at the Vienna Central Cemetery (Wiener Zentralfriedhof) in Vienna, Wien Stadt, Austria.
