Renoir married Aline Victorine Charigot in 1890 and they had three children together: Pierre, Jean and Claude Renoir. The artist died on the 3rd of December, 1919 in Cagnes-sur-Mer, France at the age of 78. He was buried at the Essoyes Cemetery, Essoyes, Departement de l’Aube, Champagne-Ardenne, France.
